Wee 5 EOC: VW Super Bowl Commercial

 

       My favorite super bowl commercial is the one above that introducing the new Volkswagen beetle. The reason why I like this commercial is because this advertisement is very simple and clean also strongly shows why beetle is an attractive car.

Who: Volkswagen and a dog

Where: Residential area

What: The dog is chasing the new VW beetle

When: Afternoon

Why: because everybody likes the beetle even dog.

How: The dog was too fat when he/she saw the beetle and he/she couldn't passed the dog gate. The dog was doing training itself to lose weight and he/she made it. When the beetle was driving by the dog was chasing it and shows everybody likes the new VW beetle even a dog.

Week 4 EOC: The Role of Women In Advertisements

      The role of women in advertisement has changed back from 50's. If you have ever seen some vintage advertisement about women they are always some sort of things that teach women how to become a good house wives and mothers. For example:

      As we can see from see from this advertisement, A man is slapping his wife's butt is because she didn't make some good and fresh coffee for him. Basically this advertisement reflated how women's position back to early 50's. They have to take care of their family, kids, husband and be a good house wife is the most important thing for women back in the days.

      Today, home appliance are still the key their hearts. Most of women are going to work now to help their family but women are still taking care of housework. But the market of advertising for women is no longer focusing on house appliance, kids education and etc. Now days women have a lot of fun and new stuff to talk about, such as girls night out, luxury brands, make up brands and etc. I believe that women are equal to men in every way.
