Promotion

Promotion is always the most important thing when a new product launched in market. For my promotion process of the Hyundai Genesis coupe I'd like to create magazine ads, TV commercials and billboards. Essentially, advertising strategy is considering the brand's or group's positioning and aiming your advertising application (the type of design problem) in the marketplace to achieve differentiation, relevance, and resonance. Moreover, the strategy is a conceptual plan that provides guidelines—for both client and creative professionals—for all visual communication applications.( the project process, page 3 from textbook) Magazine ads will be the most effective way to show people what Hyundai is offering. Superstreet and Modified are two great magazine for our Hyundai Genesis couple is because both of them are focusing on Japanese tuning and people can get them almost at every shops and supermarkets. Also, the men magazines and fashion magazines need to be used for my product as well. More likely TV commercial is another great way to let people get to know about Genesis couple. Sunday sports game channels and MTV channels matched my point for this commercial. For the Billboard part, I'd like to set couple of them on highway and some of them around downtown. Whom are we talking to? Adults, ages 18–49, who are infrequent users or nonusers of Chick-fil-A. They are primarily women, college graduates, and in white-collar jobs. They associate chicken with a healthy lifestyle and believe that quality food is better for you and worth the money. ( The project process, page 3 from textbook). Whom are we focusing on? Why I picked magazine, TV and billboards as my promotion process? The Hyundai Genesis is focusing on the young people who wants a fast rear wheel drive car. It does very thing they are looking for so this is the battle that we have to win.
